Soirée was born as a New York–based startup, focused on creating a digital platform to foster real human connections. The initiative emerged from the need to build bridges across generations and to respond to a social context defined by digital hyperconnection and the lack of authentic interaction.
The Challenge
The client sought to generate opportunities for IRL (in real life) connection and to foster active communities through events and group activities. In a landscape dominated by mobile use, an application became the most relevant solution: an app designed to be current and attractive, while bringing people together through shared social, cultural, and lifestyle interests.
Design challenge: to find a unique way of representing human connection without falling into the conventional.
Project challenge: to understand U.S. urban culture, identify trends and social dynamics of the target groups, and execute a concept that would represent them organically and authentically.
