With the arrival of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Monterrey, there was a need for an official digital platform dedicated to the sale of exclusive merchandise. The project involved creating an intuitive, scalable website capable of adapting to the different stages of the tournament, while projecting both FIFA’s global identity and the local energy of the host city.
Goal
The goal was to develop a site that would serve as a meeting point between fans and the brand, offering a shopping experience that was clear, organized, and flexible. To achieve this, a Shopify template was used as the foundation, allowing for agile updates to products, banners, and section content, ensuring the site could evolve alongside the event’s needs. From there, the site’s architecture was defined, including category organization and user flow, designed to naturally guide visitors toward purchasing merchandise or accessing experiences related to the World Cup.
Challenge
The main challenge was visual positioning: translating FIFA’s graphic identity into Monterrey’s digital environment without losing consistency or flexibility. Banners, reference images, and visual simulations were created to capture the energy of the tournament and the excitement of local fans, while maintaining coherence with FIFA’s global brand guidelines. This work encompassed content strategy, UI adaptation, and modular design, ensuring that the website was clear, visually appealing, and built to grow.
The result was an official digital platform fully aligned with FIFA’s values, capable of connecting with fans in Monterrey and showcasing the magnitude of the event through a seamless shopping experience that is visually solid, intuitive, and scalable for the future.
